Channelafrique was launched in 2010 with a new form of community unlimited by physical location or time zone. We focus on effective conversation where we Africans come together to talk about what is we believe, or are, or should be or might become. Here, we share ideas, stories, knowledge and build a bridge between Africa and western countries.
Some of us have spent a majority of our lives in the western countries where we have spent large amounts of time and money on search how to give back to our communities. We’ve discovered that we learn more when we share than when we preach, a little light from another’s path just might illuminate a dark spot on somebody’s life, we contribute to peace when we give other simple respect and space to be themselves, everyone has some of the answers but no one has them all. We Africans can make someone else’s day a little brighter by listening, sharing and helping. What you will learn from joining in this virtual community can enrich our real-world communities in more ways than you can imagine.
All are welcome here. You will find chats, discussion boards, tutors helping students in Africa as well as other resources to stimulate discussions and exchanges.
